Sustainability

Our business is passionate about the environment which is why we have taken steps to reduce our energy consumption, lowering our carbon emissions for our loved local community. As a business, we have undergone an an extensive in-depth review of our operation and formulated a number of key sustainability initiatives to reduce our carbon footprint and operate as a greener business. These initiatives include the replacement of our plastic drinking straws with eco-friendly bio-degradable paper straws, our roll-out to replace all filament bulbs with energy efficient LEDs and most recently, our investment to upgrade to an energy efficient Smart Energy heating system that will make a huge difference to the environment. Already we've seen  the positive impact these initiatives have had in helping us become a greener business however this is just the beginning.

To help us invest in these energy saving measures, we had support from Smart Energy Greater Lincolnshire. Through this, we received a grant of £1995.29 to help us implement these fantastic changes.

The £8.5 million Smart Energy programme has been part funded by the European Regional Development Fund. This is enabling small to medium size businesses across the Greater Lincolnshire area invest in energy saving technology.
